  • WWE All Stars Review (Xbox 360)

Arcade-style, simplified takes on a sport can be very fun. NBA Jam did it with basketball, and WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game did likewise for pro wrestling. WWE All Stars tries to do the same thing today, and mostly succeeds. Matches are played similarly to how they are in the Smackdown vs. Raw series, albeit with even easier controls and little concern for things like stamina or limb dam... more.

  • Shift 2 Unleashed Review

The overall structure of Shift 2 is much like its predecessor: starting you as a rookie driver and tasking you with earning your stripes through a series of open and closed events. Sometimes you'll be in cars that came out of your garage, sometimes in rides borrowed from someone else. Regardless of whether or not you own them, rest assured that all of the 140ish cars represented here all fully det... more.

Its the final countdown Australia, its time for the final verdict . We at Vooks have had the Nintendo 3DS now for just under a month, and in that month we’ve been playing and testing the system and seeing how it all stacks up. The build quality, the cameras, the 3D, the battery, the hinge and, well, even the paint job are among the things we’ve been examining. Now it’s time for our verdic... more.
  • Review: Nintendo puts 3-D destiny in palm of your hand

SAN FRANCISCO — I'm not of the generation that grew up playing handheld video games. I'm of the generation that spent a lot of time saying, "Put that thing away." Still, even I have to admit that Nintendo Co.'s new 3DS game system is pretty cool. I'll go even further: It's an important signpost that points the way to the future of all handheld devices, not just game players. And that signpost... more.

By Daniel Eran Dilger Since 1983, Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference has evolved to fit the needs of the company's third party developers. This year, the event's tracks specifically highlight Mac and iOS gaming for the first time. The technology tracks for WWDC 2011 are nearly identical to last years', apart from the fact that "Graphics Media" is now titled "Graphics, Media, and Games." O... more.
  • The Sims 3 on 3DS review

Review: The Sims 3 takes its act to the Nintendo 3DS in a somewhat cut, but overall decent port of the original game. When I first loaded up the The Sims 3 on the Nintendo 3DS, I immediately experimented with new and creative ways to kill my Sim. After it did the equivalent of putting the lotion on its skin or getting the hose again, his walls became a tomb, and the Sim died slowly. It is ... more.

Not sick of 3-D yet? Maybe you haven’t set foot inside a Best Buy recently and don’t realize how strongly the electronics industry is pushing 3-D TVs and those clunky glasses that go with them. But even skeptics will be intrigued by the Nintendo 3DS, a new handheld on sale today that delivers 3-D visuals without glasses. That sounds more like magic than science. The new handheld is essentia... more.
  • Crysis 2 Xbox 360 review

If Den Of Geek gave awards to games based on presentation alone, then Crysis 2 would probably get the first ever 10 star rating on the site. Normally, I'm no graphics whore, and firmly believe that good visuals don't make a good game, but getting my hands on Crysis 2, I couldn't help but stop and take time out just to ogle the stunning visuals. Long before you even get to the nitty grit... more.
